The Ragdoll is a large, laid-back, loving cat with a long, beautiful coat, lovely pointed pattern and beautiful blue eyes.
The Ragdoll is popular with cat lovers for beauty and trusting, playful personality. They are gentle, relaxed and have a
really sweet nature. They love to be cuddled and to curl up on peoples' laps. They enjoy playing, like children and are good
with other pets, including dogs. The Ragdoll is more of a social cat, often following its owner around craving more attention.
The Ragdoll is a loyal companion for sure!
The Ragdoll name came from their tendency to relax and go limp when picked up. They also love to lay on their backs with
all four legs in the air.
The breed is fascinated by water - especially the sound of running water. Don't be surprised if they try to join you in the bath
or shower, or if they jump in the kitchen sink!
This is an extremely trusting breed. For this reason, and because of their fascination with water, they need to be indoor cats
only.
Their soft, silky fur isn't too time-consuming to keep in good condition - a quick comb 2 or 3 times a week is usually fine.
